Shrimp, a Gorgonzola cream sauce, assorted cheeses, Italian pico de gallo and a dollop of sour cream over our house made pasta nachos! Seriously, the best nachos I've ever tasted!!! Who would have thought to use pasta, instead of tortillas?

Two country fried pork chops served over rice covered in grandma's gravy with yams and corn! The pork chops were tender and flavorful. Yams, to die for!!! Can't wait to visit again!

I was invited to a special Food Blogger Menu Tasting at Walnut Grill. Feast your eyes on this Gorgonzola-Bacon Butter, Red Wine Demi-Glace Filet. OMG!!! The steak literally melted in my mouth.

Had the pleasure of tasting this while I was in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Mofongo is a fried plantain-based dish. It is typically made with fried green plantains mashed together in a pilón, with broth, garlic, olive oil, and pork cracklings or bits of bacon.
