If you have never tuned in to “Welcome to Sweetie Pies”, on OWN, you are missing out. It's a reality show based in St. Louis and is all about a family owned restaurant. The owner, Ms. Robbie, is a former background singer for Ike & Tina Turner. I had the opportunity to visit the restaurant in August 2012. I took 2 trains and traveled about 16 hours to get to St. Louis, but I made it, and I am so glad I did; the staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! read. I was also able to meet the owner and her son Tim, who is a main character on the show. We even got a sneak peek at the newest location, The Upper Crust, before construction was completed. Check out the pictures of the restaurant, staff and food!
