Located at 224 E. 8th Avenue in the Homestead area of Pittsburgh, Dorothy 6 is an up and coming hot spot. Its only been open for a few months, but word is getting around about their delicious food. The menu is small, but the flavors are huge. The Special of the Night was The Seafood Potpie. They don't skimp on the seafood at all!! There was a WHOLE piece of salmon in there!!! In addition to the 5 oz Salmon, there's also a 4 oz. Lobster Tail, Shrimp, Sweet Potatoes, Onions, Celery, Peas and Corn all simmering in a Lobster Stock Base and topped with an Herb Biscuit Crust. This dish is certified *Breelicious*. It's $21.95, and worth every penny. I also ordered a Moscow Mule and Chocolate Cake for dessert :). With the restaurant being new, they are still working out some kinks on time management and service. However, if you are tired of the same old chain restaurants in the Waterfront, I would say its worth trying out; if you want the Seafood Potpie, check to make sure its on "Special" that evening.
